HISCOD Nepal, in collaboration with Le Filet D’Indra, France, is proud to announce the successful implementation of a Basic English Class for mothers in Kutumsang (Ta-Khoi). This initiative is specifically designed to support women who operate homestays and tourist-standard lodges in the village, aligning with our aim to empower and educate rural communities.
The English classes provide essential conversational skills, enabling participants to confidently interact with national and international tourists. Furthermore, the curriculum includes practical vocabulary related to local agricultural produce and culinary ingredients, equipping mothers to effectively describe and prepare diverse cuisines for their guests.
This program not only enhances the economic opportunities for these entrepreneurial women but also fosters a deeper cultural exchange between the community and visitors. HISCOD Nepal is committed to continuing initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development and well-being of the villages we serve.
